After earning a Graphic Design degree, Dean spent several years as a Commercial Artist. His lifelong passion for drawing led him into the imaginative world of Comic Books. As a comic book penciler, Dean illustrated various titles ranging from 'Jonny Quest' and 'Green Lantern Elseworlds' to 'Superboy' and 'Batman: Day of Judgment.' |

Eventually Dean expanded his skills by writing his own script and creating digital paintings for the stylistically groundbreaking title 'Stargods.' The sprawling saga of space faring mythological characters was a blend of both 2D and 3D art that resulted in a completely unique looking comic book. Dean's eclectic experience as an illustrator, digital artist, and comic book writer serve him well at the FedEx Multimedia Department where he creates graphics for flight instruction and pilot training courseware. Dean's other interests include screen writing and discussing the latest genre film with anyone who will listen. He also enjoys playing the guitar, and has earned a black belt in Shotokan Karate. Dean currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee. |
